Wired Wii question

i was curious if it is possible to use your PC as an adapter from ethernet to USB.

can i connect my PC through a wired connection, then from my PC to my wii via USB?

recommended:
wii has a usb to ethernet adapter so the wii can be wired to your router
wii has built-in wireless so it can wirelessly connect to a wireless router


not recommended:
nintendo makes a USB Wireless Adapter that makes your PC emulate a wireless router.
