2 questions about SD memory cards in Wii

Hi!

2 Simple questions:

1) Is the limit 2gb or will larger sd cards work?

2) As it seems in the newest version of the system software in the Wii, it SEEMS like it's possible to store channels on an sd card rather than on the internal flash memory, is this correct? Also, can I load savegames directly from the SD card or is it "backup only"?

1) yes i have read and heard that at least up to a 4gb sd card will work, maybe more
2) yes you can save game saves or vc games to your sd card, however, at least for now, you cannot load from them. you have to copy it back to system memory and load from there...sucks...but...we deal...

I thought that I could ask a question related to SD cards simply because this thread is about SD cards.

as far as i know every brand works. but id stick with san disk sd cards. they are pretty good and fairly cheap.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like it isn't exactly important to have a sd card then if you're not into the photo channel.

any confirmation on 4gb cards working? or perhaps even more?
