JUst got my free broken butterfly and upgraded the crap out of it. I'm in the fire part now and I used it for the first time. The joy of 1 hit head shots makes me all happy inside.

Hey Guys,
Its very quiet in here at the moment!!! Right, I have just got my free broken butterfly so now altogether I have broken butterfly, riot gun, semi auto rifle, Red9 and the TMP. What are the best weapons to keep/sell to equip me for the rest of the game, I'm now just at the lava bit with the fire dragons. I read somewhere that the butterfly is not so good to keep as you find hardly any ammo for it. All suggestions welcome.

Wario, a couple of questions for you!!! Am I halfway thru the game yet, just curious and.............. if you sat down and without interruption played Resi Evil 4 straight thru, how long would it take you. Been dying to ask you as you are obviously expert at it.

the speed record was under 4 hours-and that's starting in the 1st round. check it out on Youtube.
keep the broken butterfly; you'd only be using it for bosses or sub-bosses with large HP anyways.
You should have never bought the riot gun, becuz it was a minor step up from shotgun, but anyways sell it and buy the stiker if you haven't upgraded the riotgun very much.
purely based on sniping, the Bolt-Action Rifle (BAR) is better, since its maximum firepower is 30, twice of SemiAutoRifle, 15.
so, for a first run,
handgun>(punisher-optional)>Red9
shotgun>striker
BoltActionRifle
BrokenButterfly

all others, like TMP, are optional, i personally chose to get one, and it helped conserve handgun ammo. never Buy a stock for any weapon becuz they waste precious space and they dont help very much.
dont upgrade the lesser weapons (handgun,shotgun) until you reach the merchant that sells the better alternative weapons. otherwise, just dont upgrade them too much... you want to save your money-the merchant only gives you half of what you paid for in upgrade.
also, save the free Rocket Launcher for the Insect/Man hybrid AKA Verdugo, dont save it for Saddler >_>

Ok, so I just got the game a couple days ago, couple questions, do the treasures you find have any other use except to sell them at the merchant, can you combine them together, same question with the spinels

Also, i got the punisher gun for shooting all the medalions, does it suck or am I just using it wrong?

its special ability, going through multiple enemies, does not come in handy often at all. Sell it and buy the Red9 handgun when you can. Second place handgun goes to Blacktail, which is 2 blocks smaller, a little less powerful, holds more rounds, is more steady and a little faster.

Spinels can be sold anytime; they dont combine.
