Once all the games possible for the vc are realeased I think that they should add gamecube games, however if the game cube games were to be included to the vc they would come at a price if some N64 games are around 1000 points then the gamecube games would be at least 1500. As far as I know this won't be happening but im just wandering people's thoughts on this?

i couldn't see this happening because you can still buy gamecube games in the shops where as n64 AND the nes and other old consoles you can't buy or is hard to find in shops

Yes, but in time Gamecube games will be harder to find like N64 and nes games are now so by the time the virtual console is full it is likely that gamecube games will be harder to find

There would be a few issues so thats why i doubt that this will even be considered like you say the memory and the price would be hefty in wii points.

But it would be nice to see some of the old fav's like wind waker and metroid easily accesable if you sold or lost your game.

I cant see Nintendo doing this
You will always be able to get gc games (theres still stores selling Atari vcs games) and since the wii can play them out of the box (or is it case) it'd be a waste of space
Even thow there are some hard to get hold of games

They wont do it. They give you a GC memory card slot for a reason, for you to play inserted GC games on it. Now it maybe possible for them to add other consoles "BIG maybe" but GC will deffinately not be one of them. I LOVE my GC and I will play GC games on my GC...

There would be absolutely no point since GC games can be played with disk, memory card, and controller. So , no there was probably not even a single thought.

Also since Wii can play GC games, the games will stay longer. Just like you can still find PS1 games, since PS2 and PS3 (Albeit not very well) can still play the games.

I said in a later post that they wouldnt even consider it, and your point on the PS3 I've heard somewhere that the UK PS3 can only play a few ps2 games which would be awkward but give it some time and sony will add something like the virtual console just like their sixaxis controller followed the wiimote:rolleyes:

i wish the gamecube was n64 compatible because then they would still sell 64 games and i could buy all those games that i lost and i wouldnt have to wait a year for them to be release on vc :(

Gamecube games are 1.35 GB, so not even one would fit into the onboard memory. Plus, the emulation software wouldn't be fast enough to run a gamecube game, which is why the gamecube aspect of the wii is hardware based, not a much more affordable emulator.

Why put GC games on VC when you can just go to Gamestop and play off the disc. People would rather use up hardrive space with Wii games or real VC...I think.
