Getting killed hanging off an edge

Has anyone ever tried to edge guard someone by hanging off the edge and when your opponent uses their up-b move it hits you, sends you flying down, and then they are on the edge? It's really annoying. Especially when you're at around 0%.

yeah, that's why you only edge hog when your opponent is far away, but i find that everyone's recovery is better in brawl so edge hogging as become less important......in my eyes at least.

i started to merge edge hogging and edge hopping into my routine, and as mario i just use plumber's kick to knock them away
