Nintendo has just announced an exclusive midnight launch event in London next week to celebrate the release of Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the UK on the Wii. The massive launch party, which is free to enter, will take place at the GAME store on Oxford St, London, and will give fans the chance to meet Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, and have him sign their copy of the game and pose for pictures with them. The first 50 fans to attend the launch dressed as Mario will also receive an exclusive Super Mario Galaxy 2 goody bag chock full of Mario treats.
Even better than all that fantastic stuff though, is the fact that fans in attendance will be among the first in Europe to finally get their hands on what is set to be the highest scoring video game of all time (98/100 on Metacritic).
Mario fans, you can’t even imagine how good this game actually is. Having had a chance to play it, I can attest that it’s even better than the first Super Mario Galaxy. Believe the reviews, believe the hype!
