Guitar hero instruments with Rockband

Does anyone know from experience if the guitar hero: world tour instruments work with rock band(mainly AC/DC live track pack)?

The GH WT instruments will work with Rockband 2 but not Rockband 1. IGN confirmed this to be the case. The rockband instruments will not work with GH though.
