I was just wondering what web browsers everyone uses on wiichat. I personally use Mozilla Firefox.

If theres any other well known internet browsers tell me

Netscape-0

Mozilla Firefox- 9 (firefox ftw =D)

Internet Explorer-1

Other-2?

I think this is right

Yeah, I love firefox popup blocker. It's really the best. IE is buggy and doesn't block all popups!

I use Firefox and I never looked back - using IE @ school makes me cringe.

Then again everything about the computers @ school makes me cringe.

Haha nice, I know i hate using internet explorer at school...Then they have some gay deep frezze program to prevent the computer to saving files onto ur account....((((A gay perverted computer teacher always makes things better too))))

*at school* Teacher:Shoudl i use viagra or cialis??????"
no lie...he said that in the middle of class to a dude on the phone i was like what the f*ck wait till u get home or something...plus he calls everyone doll face...

FireFox or K-Melon. K-Melon is a stripped down version of FF that I put as my default since its speed is comparable to Opera. No more waiting for FF to load to look at an html document stored on my comp. yaay! Its seurity is still pretty good. :yesnod: I still use my FF for long sessions.

Haha dude, similar story.

The tech guys who worked @ my old highschool were a dodgy bunch. When they took students school laptops for formatting (for whatever reason) they would search the computers rigorously digging up all the porn they could find on them (most kids had alot, blatantly on the desktop sometimes.), burning it to a CD (and no they didn't use it as evidence against the student) and kept it.

That and the principle caught them playing Unreal Tournament 03' and claimed they were 'testing hardware' >,>

I use Firefox personally. At home I don't use Windows, so IE isn't even an option (which is fine by me).

(Actually some of the corporate intranet pages I need to access require IE. For those I run an emulated Windows XP session within my FreeBSD desktop, and run IE from within that. But I only use that for boneheaded pages that require IE and that I have to get at. Otherwise if I stumble on a page that requires IE, I just move on... unless I'm in bad mood, then I email the webmaster).

At work I am the IT admin so I make sure all systems go out to employees with Firefox set to the default and the IE icon removed. Employees are instructed to use Firefox unless it's absolutely necessary to use IE. I'm having pretty good compliance, although sometimes it's necessary to guide people back on-track who have gone astray...

I use Gnome so sometimes I'll pull up Epiphany (which is Firefox-based anyway, as is Camino) but usually only when I want to have a different set of cookies for some reason or another.

For the students faced with Deep Freeze: get a USB flash drive then use this special version of Firefox on it:

Firefox, hands down.

Although Opera, konquerer, and safari (recently windows-ized) all have their fanbases too. You should check out all your options.

LOL@ 2 posts up, people who won't convert......

where you work sremick?
