The United States is one of the few countries, if not the only country, that it's territory touches every major climate that this world provides. U.S. climate ranges from the artic tundra (Alaska) to tropical (southern tip of Florida to it's island territories) so in reality weather isn't that much incentive.
Australia's spiders are no more poisonous than the States, and we even have our fair share of poisonous reptiles as well so that doesn't disturb me either. What bothers me the most about living in Australia is those horrible little jack-jumper ants.
Unlike typical ants, jack-jumpers are not blind, highly aggressive, and have been known to attack human beings simply for being proximity of there nests. What makes matters worse is not only do they sting, but a large number of people are allergic to the jack-jumper toxin, therefore these dangerous insects have 'caused a number of deaths in Australia.
Australia is a beautiful country, wonderful people, but horrible bugs.
(If you don't mind dealing with her, pictured above, then Australia sounds like a great place to live or at least visit.)
I've been to Ohio, and while I have no noteworthy complaints about the state however I have never found any decent incentives to move there. (Maybe for Cincy Chili :lolLevesqueIsKing said:Ohio is a much better vacation spot than Australia.
