I have come to realize
finally here to be alive
will you come with me?
maybe help me see
if i ever if i ever
choose blindness
over something i thought was kindness
or maybe i will stay
but what should i believe?
if all they say

is wrong?
i cannot sing my song
but they let me dance
whenever they get their chance
to pull my strings
no one sings
because puppets have no voice
but i still have a choice
will you come to find me?
if i am lost and cannot see
if i forget to be alive
will you help me, will you help me

Here's something I stumbled across today, no idea when I wrote it, Enjoy.

MONKEY
I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT TREMBLES BENEATH MY SURFACE
IT SEEMS TO ME THAT ONLY THE INSIDE IS PLIABLE,
WHEN IT LASHES OUT FOR NO UNTIMELY CAUSE
MY MIND ITSELF IS LOST IN A FOG OF MISERY AND BLACK SILKEN LACE
I'M POWERLESS TO HOLD ON OR GRIP IT BY THE FACE.
WHAT TEARS DOWN MY SUNSHINE ON THE SURFACE OF MY BACK
IS A LITTLE LINEN MONKEY WHO DOESN'T GIVE IT ANY SLACK
WHEN HE WHISKS AWAY WITH A BULBOUS BOUNCE
IT IS ONLY TO CHANGE HIS ATTITUDE OF MY SIGHT,
WHILE ANGER DRIPS IN SWEATED BREATH UPON THE RED CLAY OF MY HOME.
IT SOAKS MY HEART TO A SADDENED MUD OOZING FROM MY SOUL
AND WITH THIS MUD MY HANDS GRIP IN AN EFFORT TO CONSTRUCT
A SOLID PLACE FOR MY HOLD. IN WHICH IT IS I CHOOSE TO HIDE
THIS LITTLE MONKEY STILL IT SEEMS CLINGS TO MY SOFTEST SIDE
WHILE I SWING FROM BENEATH THE BUSHES CHASING ALWAYS MY PRIDE
AND WHILE THIS CONFLICT RAGES INSIDE IT SEEMS TO ME
THAT EVEN AFTER A SULLEN STORM
A WHISKY SOUR IS STILL A MOST PLEASANT WAY TO STAY WARM
AT THE END OF THE DAY I STILL, IT SEEMS, AM CONFUSED AS TO WHAT IT IS
THAT TREMBLES BENEATH MY SURFACE​

Yea its pretty much the same with me but when i write i usually know the first line or two and take it from there. And btw nice one Elron really nice actually.
