I am looking at Diancie's Pokedex entry

A sudden transformation of Carbink, its pink, glimmering body is said to be the loveliest sight in the whole world.

Maybe the theories that you need a Carbink to transform into a Diancie could be true.

I am legitimately angry about Heliolisk having Dry Skin (and to a lesser extent Sand Veil) while only having Solar Power as a HA

... What's wrong with all'a that? 'Sides taking damage in the sun with Dry Skin.

Maybe the theories that you need a Carbink to transform into a Diancie could be true.

I hope so, for three reasons:

1. It's an interesting concept that's never really been done before
2. It would most likely mean Diancie can learn Power Gem
3. Spelure, the Carbink I used in Y, can become a magical kawaii gem fairy

It should be a one time deal, tho.

... What's wrong with all'a that? 'Sides taking damage in the sun with Dry Skin.

It's a SOLAR POWERED LIZARD, its solar power shouldn't be incorporated into gameplay merely by a hidden ability, it's a huge aspect of the Pokemon. Its two default abilities are abilities that take advantage of every weather that's not sun (and hail). Dry Skin is literally the WORST ability in the sun, and it has it...bleh.

Cold blooded reptiles like those Helioptile are based on fry in the desert sun. Dry Skin isn't that back-asswards of an ability for it. Not that IRL animal kingdom logic should dictate in-game stuff, but I'm just saiyan.

Sand veil certainly is kind'a odd though. It'd make sense if it made its home 'round the Power Plant, but since that ain't the case, ya've a point with that one.

Yes, but only with Ditto.

I wonder, if that's the case, will a HA Carbink affect Diancie in any way?
