Ok so i started this job finally employed after about 2 years of being unemployed, ive been needing a laptop.

What would be a good kind for Gaming, Audio (including music production and playback quality) and media.
I mean i have been told to have one custom built but its also an arm and a leg in price. I dont want to spend alot just to be disappointed. Any suggestions or any kind of brand (not mac) that i should look for?

From the sounds of things you should avoid netbooks.

I havnt herd of any place that custom builds laptops, but for one that can runs some recent games you might need to spend £1000+

Truth be said I dont know as I dont usually price up in USD

Best bet is to look round and google any laptops brand names to see what people think of them before you hand over any money
