I'm not sure who's my favorite singer but my favorite song is Got Money by Lil Wayne ft T-Pain. I know the whole song by heart.

Seriously though, no offense, but it seems like you don't know much about rap.
The only rap I really listen to anymore is Tech N9ne. I feel like I've already heard everything else.

I could never take Tech N9ne seriously after I heard the song "I'm a Playa".
Eazy-E on the other hand is a legend.

Not that big of a rap fan but I do like some, like Dr. Dre's The Chronic. Looking forward to his next album even though it probably wont be out until a couple decades from now.


By the way please don't include Soulja Boy in any discussion about rap. He's not a rapper; he's just had one too many and somebody made the mistake of handing him a microphone.

His raps are usually really complex with a lot of subtleties.

I respect Eazy E for some of what he did, but he was no rapper. His mother goose flow cannot hold a candle to Tech N9ne.

That's how all old school rap was. Just because he doesn't rap fast like Tech does in that song, doesn't mean he doesn't have flow.

You don't understand. Tech only occasionally raps fast. The complexity is there in the multi-syllabic and internal rhyme, and the constant change in devilery.
I completely understand if Tech's stuff isn't for you, though. I won't try to convert you.

I do, however, feel like saying that Eazy just raps like everyone used to is a bad excuse for his bad rapping. If everyone just rapped like everyone else, where is the progression? What would make anyone stand out?
Eazy is a legend for being one of the first to be so blunt with NWA. He didn't even write the verses he is known for. Like I said, he was no rapper.
