The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

Played TF2, tried the Soda popper today, just ain't as good as i'd like to think it is. Played Pyro too and I find myself going through the phase of lighting someone up and then just shotgunning them down, I must've got more Shotgun kills then the flamethrower!

Mann up mode is a difficult version of MvM (it'll cost you a ticket) . You're better off trying default levels first.

Got soldier's rocket jumping down. Love raining death down on all the snipers that are sitting there with tunnel vision. Need to get used to the whole "No healing off medics" thing with "The Escape Plan".

Escape plan is the favored soldier melee by the community, negatives are minor. Rocket jumping will make the soldier an extremely mobile and powerful class. Equip the gunboats to reduce jump blast damage.

Completed 2 more Mann up missions. The difficulty gets plain ridiculous. 4 tanks along with 12 giant deflector heavies surrounded by 6 uber medics each. With spy support. Spent a couple of hours on that last wave. Got a chocolate bar and shield. Worth it.... eventually.

Derpin' around on MKW some more, it's becoming more apparent that there's no longer a distinct presence of "great" players online anymore. Everyone is either much worse than me, or much better; which is to say a newbie or a pro who knows every single bloody shortcut 'n strategy. As such, my VR isn't gonna get to 9,000 like back in the day. It'l flop between 7,500 and 8,500 endlessly since I ain't got any plans to play MKW competitively. Playin' racing games competitively is rather meh to me, just ain't as pumped for it as fightin' games or the pogeymenz.

And then a new online-multiplayer Burnout is released.

Spent the last couple of hours on the last wave of a mann up mission. Long story short, bad outlet turned off the pc. CK, you were right about troll fortress. The last wave featured 48 flanking holiday punch heavies. They force you to go into laughter while everyone on your team dies and the bomb asplodes. Along with them were 3 tanks, 4 giant demos, 2 full crit soldiers, 2 rapidfire soldiers, 2 giant heavies with 8 medics each, demoknights, and snipers for support

I have considered the Gunboats before but I find myself using the Shotgun far too often to consider trading it out for something else. I did try the Reserve shooter but didn't find it coming anywhere close to beating the regular shotguns utility.

Shotgun is great with any soldier loadout, but the gunboats has its uses if you can make your rockets count.

I played a wee bit of shotgun heavy today, Family business feels superior to the normal shotgun however when you go up against a team of Snipers, Spies and Scouts it isn't a real test of the shotgun. Normal shotgun is most likely still superior to the Family business in general (plus it has that really annoying bug with the reload where instead of pulling the pump, Heavy pulls the entire shotgun back).

I have a little discussion for both you Assasin and Mr. Mini-sentry or level 1 for offensive engineering?

My VR has gone positive from where I resumed finally, up to 8,500. Practicing gettin' 2 stars 'n better for most of the single player cups is likely why.

Is that... Is that even possible to beat? o_o;

If your gonna be a semi-useless heavy, why not just go FoS or Holiday punch heavy?

Depends. Are you playing KotH or sd maps? Then mini sentry is more effective. For the other modes, big sentry is better but again, it's situational on the circustances.

After failing miserably at the last Mann up mission, I decided to take a short break from TF2 and went back into Skyrim. For some reason, I'm not recognized as a Thane anymore. My character's eyes seem to have messed up as well. And that house I purchased seems to have disappeared.

Well, I figured out one of the problems. Turns out I have vampirism.....

Any advantages/disadvantages I should be aware of?
