Devil May Cry? I hear 4 wasn't as good as 3, but still good. The reboot ain't been released yet, so no one can really say. The gameplay certainly looks decent from the trailers I've seen, and quite frankly that's all I care 'bout for the series.

... Not that I won't miss the actual Dante and a real Devil Trigger.

I played 4 for a bit, got to some sodding jumping section with blades that had to be slowed down, but that had a timer and a moving camera and chucked the sodding game at the wall

DMC I played at Play Expo, again arsey jumping section where you have to do a double jump then do a mid air button combo to get a bit more reach, WHY NOT JUST HAVE IT AS A DOUBLE JUMP AND SOD THE EXTRA THING!!? Seriously this was unacceptable in the 8-bit days when the camera stays where it is, now with ones with a mid of its own it should be a rule for jumping sections to not be annoying.

Also combat felt a bit shitter

Stylin' like all devil hunters should strive for. Gettin' a few S-ranks on the way surprisingly. As an aggrofaggot I generally play with absolutely ****-all concern in takin' damage so long as I can continue my stylish combos, so needless t' say I was shocked at all the A-ranks in damage (taken) I'm gettin'.

Still utter **** with Nevan 'n still not at all attracted to Beowulf; the former is projectile based 'n clunky, whereas the latter is far too slow for my tastes. Rebellion and Agni & Rudra ftw. Combos flow particularly cleanly with 'em both, and that's exactly how I like to fight: fast 'n smooth. Loves me some unstoppable momentum once I get goin'.

I've gotta build momentum!

Sarcasm in my last post. Monolith games have a nasty habit of getting their budgets cut or their games cancelled. Turns out people don't like controversial complex, philosophical, games. If it was only money, they'd never go for it.

Which makes it even stranger that Xenoblade managed to sell well, in spite of being a Gamestop exclusive.
