I'm not really enjoying Borderlands 2 as much as I'd like. I've played quite a bit already. I really hope skills can make a difference.

Once you get enough skills you can arrange them to make your character work different

Collecting is one of the things that is popular within the game
Getting good guns and head hunting is sometimes fun

But... I want MOAR customization! Shields are stoopid and aren't noticable(visually).

If it's a loot game, there should be armor. That's like one of the five pillars of the genre. Head gear, leg gear, arms, chest, gems(mods in this case) and enchancements to each of the pieces. Instead there's head and color swap. Bleh.

Why? It's a sequel, not DLC. Even then I see no reason for that. You said yourself it was a loot centered game.
