Earlier, I finally caught AC:III's servers workin' and had a grand 2~ hour session. Much to my chagrin, I'm gettin' mighty good at Deathmatch too since everyone just loves t' play said mode.

Unfortunately, the servers are back t' bein' broken now...

It is at first ('specially for newbies) since it's much easier than the other game modes, but once you're good at it, t'is way too repetitive 'n predictable. Competitive Deathmatch amongst the best players is also no more than basic mind games and usin' abilities properly... there's no real skill so much as it is knowin' how to abuse the game mode's rules.

... Then again, that's how it is for every Free For All mode; though, Assassinate at least takes a shitton of skill on top'a said abuse of the mode's quirks.

I just tried Project M. It was AWESOME.

• Everyone all had about the same, really fast speed
• Items defy gravity and can fly
• Many moves can spike
• People gain so much strength it's like they're on steroids
• Voices are heard more often
• Harder to grab ledges
• Harder to edge-guard
• Hard to recover
• Easy to deal damage and combo
• Combos are riskier
• Different smash attacks as well as specials

Just my opinions on it.

You basically described Melee
and also Combos are much more easier to pull off in Project M

Also if you didn't know when you Knee of Justice an opponent and hit the up taunt, Captain Falcon says "YES!"
