I admit it smells fishy, but it happened. It was a Nanobalaclava, one of the unglier spy hats, but only noob traders give away hats. Well, that and bribes/corruption. And I suppose if people mistook you for female, you'd get free stuff. Heck, I only gave Mr that modest pile of hat because I knew he'd eventually repay me somehow.
