The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

Final Fantasy XII took a chunk out of my day again. Ended up grinding after noticing how weak and horribly over-focused my gear was towards Vaan and Fran. So I took awhile to collect some gil, tried to get the Burning Bow but I don't have the patience for that junk. Got a demonsbane for Ashe, my Ashe white mage allowing her to deal physical damage when not healing. Bought Vaan the Storm Spear as his off-hand slot is always unfilled and a spear would be more beneficial then a Single handed blade at this point, speed and damage wise. Also bought a new gun for Balthier and a Bow for Fran, upgraded all the armour to what could actually cut it and headed into the Stilshrine of Miriam.

Back to playing!

I played ****in' awful today; both in Escort and Manhunt (couldn't find a Chest Capture session...). Horrible sleep, lack of breakfast, and for the case of Manhunt not playin' regularly left me outta the first place slot on all occasions. I haven't played that badly in ages.

Also, I realized I never beat Fire Emblem 7's Hector Hard Mode; RDR and Revelations distracted me from it for awhile, wherein I proceeded to forget 'bout it for half a bloody year, if not more. WOOPS LAWL

New heavy minigun envelopes the player in a ring of fire. As cool as that sounds it's also great for spychecking and keeping melee attackers away. From what I've tried, it is a bit OP.

Stronghold was lackin' in players like never before; except a single lobby where all the prestiged players were posse'd up to utterly destroy the unprestiged newbies. Absolutely despicable. Needless to say I didn't stick 'round. Free For All lobbies were equally lackin', and it didn't take long 'fore half the lobby ragequit in my omnipotent presence (cap 10 bags of gold in Gold Rush for the win, while everyone else has no more than 1? LAWL).

With nobody stickin' 'round 'n fightin' like a man in both Gang modes and FFAs, I took to Undead Overrun for a bit. Pretty sure my skill in UO had peaked a good few months ago, so it's unfortunate I'll never be breakin' my high scores again...

So the new sapper is bugged. The standard lvl 3 sentry has 200 health. Removing the sapper will increase it's max health and can potentially reach around 4000 health. It'll be fun to mess with until it's fixed.

"Mess with"? ... Can you sap your own engi's sentry? if so lol so op

Played a bit of normal co-op just 'cause I can. Handicapping myself with Miner as per usual, I still scored first place every time. Strangely enough, there was a level 35 with a golden Winchester... You rarely see non-prestiged players with golden weaponry. It is without a doubt the easiest gun to get gold, but that's impressive I'd say.

Speakin' of skill, a first prestige player had none. I got headshot when chargin' Fort Mercer on "the Kidnapped Girl" mission, and he left me to die since he was... determined to shoot that one guy, 'n just stood there ADSing at the CPU in cover. The fool thought he'd get gunned down by a single damn enemy with a Winchester by the time he revived me apparently; that or he didn't hear the announcer loudly say "Your gangmate is down!" 'n didn't notice the giant yellow blip on his map to signify this. Bloody idiot. Certainly didn't stick 'round after that show of stupidity. A level 10 would'a performed better than 'em.

To think in this day and age, there are still people unaware of the existence of Deadringers. I was reported for having the ability to instaspawn, according to him.

Really been wantin' do another playthrough of Warband, but with increased difficulty, so I started a new file a few days ago. Already decided weeks prior that I'd be a Rhodok Count since I loves me some Swadian Knights and Rhodok Sharpshooters.

Two months 'n a few days in, I've won countless tournaments, became a vassal of King Graveth, leveled up my heroes 'n I like crazy, and captured Uxhaul for myself right before the Swadians begged for a truce (many other vassals lead a huge assault on the town; there was a garrison only 32 strong left when I arrived). The profits are rollin' in now, so I'll get the best armor in just a few weeks, so long as I can find it. I'll certainly need it since I'm much more focused on Intelligence rather than Strength this time 'round. Can't just charge into the breach during a siege 'n kill half the enemy's troops on my own anymore, best armor in the game or not.

Also, we're at war with the Sarranians for the second time. Maybe I'll be able to take Shariz for myself as well...

I found an abandoned military base. Obviously, there must be some supplies and weapons, so I head there right away. I'm well aware that many players must also be heading there and that I should be cautious as possible. I fill up on canned goods and drinks and get a new scoped rifle. As I make my way out, I hear gunshots nearby. I turn around and see the ground near me get shot. So I head back inside the building and close the doors. I also notice that I am now in the middle of an empty air field and getting away may be dangerous.

So I log off the game so the guy can get tired and do something else. I log back in after several hours. I leave the building. It's night, so it's harder to see. I decide to take the area with zombies wandering around because it's the only place with tall grass to stay hidden. Again, gunshots. I crawl towards I tree and try to head somewhere else. Too late. Dead.

My recent attempts to find loot have been near impossible without a weapon.

Ended up playing TF2 last night [STRIKE]Mr join the bandwagon I am right now[/STRIKE]

So far i'm enjoying Engineer and Scout and by far my best two classes. Pyro and Heavy is cool to play and i'm decent as them. Horrible as every other class in the game.
Engineer is one of those classes that i'll become better as my map knowledge expands and things like that.

Thought I'd attempt to take Shariz right in the face of the enemy, but at the time my fellow Counts were fighting for the castle to the North, Almerra. There must of been 500~ enemy troops up there, so there was obviously no way I'd be able to repel all of 'em after takin' it. I instead decided to go deep into enemy territory (one of my heroes has high Path Finding; they'l never catch me if I make a wrong turn) and capture Ahmerrad. I captured the place, but had to leave immediately as three Emirs with a total of around 300 men arrived to take it back. Had the lord with 70 men arrived first, I would'a been able to hold 'em off by destroyin' him, then hiding in Ahmerrad to heal my troops. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, and I lost Ahmerrad... I intend to take it back. I need a second town to my name 'fore my funds skyrocket up to what's needed for funding my future kingdom.

This is only four months in-game, which I reckon is pretty good. I've still got a long ways to go before I get my own kingdom, though. My renown and startin' charisma allots me 95 troops at the moment. That number is absolutely not enough to work alone in war, none the less as a King.
