The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

Ya can't escape the 'Karp, Assasin. No one has ever lived t' tell such a tale. Submit to us.

I don't understand how nub lobbies are so damn common in Revelations. Boggles my bloody mind. To a lesser extent, I'm also surprised by how many people were level grindin' in (Friendly) Free Roam t'day during triple XP. One dude was hardcore-grinding Tesoro Azul. Back when I was a nub, I could've had seven other players with me 'n still not clean that gang hideout so fast as I did with that dude. I can only imagine how quick it would've been if I wasn't usin' Expert targeting (t'is all I use in Free Roam, auto targeting is OP against AI).

TF2 players sure have their priorities straight.

Lol, a friend told me yesterday that a guy snorted salt for 1 million gold on RUNESCAPE. I couldn't even imagine comprehending the reason to even think about snorting salt nevermind doing it!

... Is 1 mil a lot in Runescape monies? 'Cause if it is I'd sure as **** do it 'n sell that account on eBay or somethin'.

My luck in Minecraft remains impeccable. Though my hard drive crash destroyed my more-than-a-stack of diamonds, I'm well on my way t' reclaiming said stack. Three hours in a new world, on my first major spelunkin' trip, I entered an underground ravine with a river of lava on level 11. Two veins of four diamond ore each were in plain sight. Even better, I actually found two dungeons early on in my derpin' about in caves. Inside one'a the dungeon chests was a Fortune II enchatment book, so I marked down the location's coordinates t' return to later once I enchant a pick.

... And then a creeper randomly fell on me from a hiding hole above when my frame rate imploded at quite literally the worst moment, meanin' I couldn't at least lessen the damage by backin' up. T'was followed by two skeletons and a zambie ambushin' me at that exact moment, resultin' in me dying literally milliseconds 'fore I could successfully block myself in a corner to regen health. If my fps wasn't dyin', I would've managed to get away...

Great luck followed by horrid luck aside, I actually managed t' make a mad dash back to my precious enchantment book 'fore it vanished... better yet, on my way there when pickin' through two stacks worth of cobble, I found another diamond ore vein by chance. T'was a huge vein of eight ore. :D That's 16 in just one trip, no more than four hours into the game, not countin' any bonus diamonds I'll receive from my enchanted pick. I've only one basic house and a shitty farm-in-progress at the moment, yet I'm gonna have more than a fourth of a stack'a diamonds already. dat mother****in luck

It's random events like this that makes a game go far. Now if only the closest building weren't filled with people trying to kill you because you won't join them.

1 Mill gold in Runescape is nothing, people have billions and billions in their banks.

Finished a couple chapters of Spec Ops: The Line. It seems to be a standard fare generic 3rd person shooter, but it's supposedly got a pretty good narrative. Combat occasionally lets you shoot windows or other structures to have 'em fall on enemies. Makes things fun.

Speaking of mmo's, I've been playing a bit of Tera Online now that I'm taking a break from classes. It feels a bit more fun than others. No, I don't play 'em srsly or competteitivlynes. Quests are generic, story is as crappy as any other mmo, but the gameplay feels more engaging and it looks nicer. For some reason, western developers insist on using the most dull looking art styles ever. I've also been wanting to try out Phantasy Star Online 2 as well, but the Sega ID web page for registering seems to be down or something.

I keep hearing that PSO 2 is really good. Never tried it myself though.

Apparently Skyward Sword's developers made a huge oversight in the fact that ya can't start Hero Mode off a Hero Mode save/new file, meanin' my plan t' do a six-heart Hero Mode run has been ruined. =/ Quite a stupid thing for them t' miss. Ah well, guess I'll save that srs bsns playthrough for next time... ain't like I won't enjoy playin' it normally. Speakin' of, I decided against doin' a six-heart run on Normal mode since that'l better prepare me for my future six-heart run, which would probably make things a tad too easy.

Just finished the ol' Earth Temple half an hour ago.

Syndicate on 360 is an ok game for its current cheap-o price

... If SS does have the best dungeons, why ain't it better received by Zelda fans?
