I recall Dark Void gettin' quite a bit of unwarranted hype pre-release. Dead Island syndrome.
It has the hallmarks of being a good game.
Its just the upgrade system is a bit urghsome
Plus hijacking a UFO in flight was bloody awesome

Dark Souls is a Metroidvania game. Just went through a medieval elevator that lead me back to the first area. Pretty good.
Apparently Earthbound's VC release has come. I was about to start up Pandora's Tower, but I dunno, I kinda wanna play Earthbound now. I did play it *elsewhere* before, but I'd like to play it on this.
I'll play both, I guess.

Okay, so my sister took my Wii to my dad's house. She's going to spend the night, and my dad will pick me up in the morning to go up north for a family reunion. Naturally, wanting to get my Pandora's Tower save data, I made sure I copied the save file from the Wii to an SD card. But when I put the SD card in, it said that it could only transfer save data directly from the Wii system itself, or some bullshit. I'm going to try again here in a minute, since I'm not taking the Wii U with me. Sorry Assasin. >:/

Started a vanilla Engineer playthrough. There's a lot more people thanks to the sale, which makes some of the buff skills more practical. I forgot just how much more fun the class is compared to others. Nethermancer's great too, but it's still in alpha.

GGs to Tragoknight... though ya really need t' ease up on the button pressin', there's a time for mashing and there's a time for calculated attacks. As I've said, Meta is nowhere near as safe or spam-friendly as he once was.

I'm talkin' 'bout all the unspaced F-smashes and unreversed D-smashes. F-smash has more range than it used to, and can be spaced properly to great effect. You tend t' throw it out a lot too, I usually just hit ya out of it or punish afterwards if you're not usin' it to edge guard. D-smash is slower than Meta's F-tilt, the back swing doesn't come out fast anymore and as a result is punishable; it's not the great panic move it used t' be (best nerf evar). If you're gonna use it t' escape pressure, the first hit needs to face the correct way.
... And on that note, you do know ya can turn around and do a D/U-Smash at the same time, yeah? Like with specials, but even easier.
