The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

I really should figure out a way to get back to Morrowind first, then move to the next one. I guess I could god mode my way through the tough enemies.

Do not recommend. Morrowind has great out doors, but horrible dungeons. The dungeons in morrowind are huge, multi level labyrinths, that do not even have proper maps. Which means you will get lost. a lot. In those dungeons.
-and the dungeons look all the same, and are pitch black, so you have to carry torch all the time.

Oblivions dungeons are a lot better, but light is required. In Skyrim, dungeons are well lit, so no torch needed! Hooray!!!

Personally I would recommend getting skyrim first, and then moving on to oblivion. Skyrim is a bit easier you see...

Gotta love Morrowind's outdoors. The world is easily my favorite in the series.

What don't you recommend? Because I'm definitely gonna finish Morrowind this time. I played vanilla Skyrim, which was craptastic. I do look forward to seeing how improved it is with mods. But I'd have to finish the other games first.

The dungeons are fine, especially compared to dungeons in other RPG's. They even named the rooms/floors. But yeah, the lighting is a pain if you lack a torch or something.

Actually, Morrowind is technically the easiest if you can figure how to break the game with spell making and enchantments and such. I don't bother with that.

Anywho, gonna go meet Azura and see how that turns out. As soon as I find that cave.

Loaded up vBrawl for the first time in several months. In case you don't know, I've been playing Project M.
  • I miss Marth.
  • Everything seems so slow.......
  • Air dodging more than once at a time!
  • Ledges actually work!
  • Better edge-guarding!
  • Fewer Easter Eggs! (Did not miss)
  • Basic Brawl is surprisingly active in the mornings.
  • Most Basic Brawls I participated in were taunt parties! Cheers to the Necromantic Paladin!
  • People are (sadly) still using Meta Knight competitively.
  • Fun with random items and Final Smashes!
  • [STRIKE]CAPTAIN FALCON SUCKS EVEN MORE[/STRIKE]
I meant to post this at the time after doing it, 7 AM EST, but it sort of slipped my mind.....

Played Pikmin 3 for a number of hours today. Unlocked Yellow Pikmin, and took down three annoying bosses (one might quality as a miniboss).

About Elder Scrolls.

Of Skyrim and Oblivion: Skyrim all round better, but Oblivion has lot more humour and so is the entertaining one.

Morrowind: played it on PC, with the Better Bodies mod. Great laugh!
-I dislike the towns in morrowind, because the shops do not have clear signs on them, so you have to navigate with a map to find them every time you visit town. Especially as all buildings look the same.
-I never finished Morrowind, because I always ended up lost in those annoying dungeons. And the gamestory was not even fun or interesting. Good sidequests, though...

NOw playing gears of war 2. It's kinda fun. And more macho than halo, which is for girls.

Also tried Lego Batman, but did not like it. The levels are just too convoluted for their own good, as are the end of level bosses. And the deathfalls around the levels ensure you lose most of your legos before reaching the end of the level.
-So, the worst lego game this far, in my opinion. The best lego game? Star wars!

I completed Yars revenge (remake)

Last boss is one for the title of "Most boring"

Been on one'a my Mario Kart Wii stints as of late, which seems t' come back 'least once a year.

Never in all my days would you catch me playin' Peach in a Mario game; 'til now. Bloody love the extra drift she gets, so suddenly my main character is now Peach @ Mach Bike. How utterly unexpected. Gonna miss Funky though, as he's quite funky. Dry Boozer and his top tier mini-turbos as well.

halo, which is for girls.

Great Scott, you're right... !
