Sonic Solutions have unveiled that Nintendo has chosen the Sonic Cineplayer CE DVD Navigator application to bring high-quality DVD viewing to a future version of the console to be released in the latter half of 2007.

Reports from those lucky Americans who have received Wii already confirm that Excite Truck supports a custom soundtrack. Gadzooks!

By inserting an SD card ( containing MP3 files ) into Wii, it is possible to stream the music from the card whilst you are racing - similar to the Xbox.

METROID MAJOR GRAPHICAL IMPROVEMENT SAYS RETRO
According to Nintendo Power, Nintendo US's official Nintendo magazine (in no way similar to ONM- their's is actually accurate half of the time), Metroid Prime 3 has seen a major visual overhaul since the E3 build shown this year. An extract reads:

"Retro have confirmed that the graphics for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption have been vastly upgraded compared to that of its E3 demo counterpart."
