That's not the creator. That's a big-shot from Namco, who own the rights to Xenosaga. If interest is high enough and the petitions are a success, then they'll agree to making an hd remake. However, it may be end up a PS4 title, since the 'saga trilogy was originally PS2. However, he did say he'd want the original staff to work on it. The original staff being the creator Tetsuya Takahashi and Monolith Soft in general, who are now 1st party Nintendo. So now Namco would need to get Nintendo to greenlight this as well. Overall a difficult task, but hey; Operation Rainfall worked. Maybe Xenosaga will have similar luck. Highly doubt due to very different circumstances.
