g4tv.com has a special browser for the wii. If you watch the channel you will know what's on there because it's basically like a youtube for G4TV, but for people who haven't been to the site and don't watch the tv channel there is...

X-Play: Video reviews for new games.
Cheat: A show where they walk you through certain unlockables and hidden items in games.
Attack of the Show: It's basically a news show for all things tech and games

They have other things but I don't think it's anything worth mentioning.

Wiicade.com is alright...practically a brand new site though. I'm not sure if it has bugs or anything, becuase McAfee hasn't tested the site yet.

I guess Google made a Wii-friendly site called Google Reader, not sure it it's out yet.

Wiiwant2play.com has games, forum, videos, and more.

Videlextrix.com/vii has games

A good site for brain teasers is braingle.com/wii it's a simple site to use.

Wiisels.com I read the front page, I guess you can add them to your Wii address book and they will send you messages of upcoming games...sounds neat.

VChints.com Name explains

Wiidoku.com Sudoku on Wii

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/wii/ gaming site

wiifii.com flash games

Aimonpsp.com Sounds awesome, it says it works great for wii too

Wii-maps.stainlessvision.com/

Miiplaza.net Game reviews, make friends, share miis

miiboard.com A Wii community, has videos, reviews, games, and more

I'm always a little skeptical on sites that I've never heard of. I would make sure to have a good site advisor or anti-virus before visiting some of these on your pc. Although there is no point in making viruses for Wii becuase all the money for making viruses is in pcs. It would make sense to make a site dedicated to the Wii and then distribute viruses. be carreeeeful.

enjoy, Tom

Is there a way to get Gmail to play nicely with the Wii? "Mobile" option prompts to download a Cellular Phone executable, and if you say "Web Only" the page stretches to each end of the TV, which means you can't Zoom in and see a full line of text (nor can you in regular Gmail).

If you press "2" Gmail shunts everything into half the width of the TV, which is also not fun to read.

Some of those links were bad already - talk about suspect!

I reposted them in a Wii friendly format as GMail sucks on the Wii:

You will need to use Gmail to
use these links, however, I
have tried to wrap text so you
can read it more easily!

There's a directory of Wii specific websites/applications at www.wiisquid.com. One of the best ones it features is www.wiiminder.com. It's a web-browser that uses tabs! Which is very helpful. You can also set a home page, and other useful stuff.

---------

A perfect little flash game that works really nicely with the Wii Remote can be found here...only problem is the long address :(

http://www.broadstar.jp/showcase/select.php?content_id=G01449

You basically got to defend yourself from little people by swinging your sword at them. I know it's not a Wii specific site but it works quite well.

-----------

www.jacksonpollock.org is a cool one - it's just a blank canvas when you load of the page - drag the Wiimote around to create random bits of art! Press A to change colour.

Edit: Misspelled the jacksonpollock.org link
