#1 RHCP
#2 Foo Fighters
#3 Elton John, he's playing in a Stadium in my nearest city and I really want to go

The Chili Peppers put on an amazing live show - make every effort to see 'em live if you can (especially with Frusciante). I've seen Elton John twice - once in a regular production and once in his sort of "unplugged" tour, more minimal, piano only, very cool.

I haven't seen Foo, though the wife saw Nirvana *twice* (might even be three times) and actually hung out at a crash pad where Kurt and the boys were, pre popular blow up!

First show: Saves the Day,Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182.
Last show: I don't remember...maybe death cab for cutie. i dunno.
Best show: Angels and Airwaves with taking back sunday. Tom cant sing for crap but the feeling was near-religious.

My brother went to see Foo Fighters with Motorhead and Angels & Airwaves supporting.

Angels and Airwaves were bottled and booed off during their first song because they sucked :yesnod:

Let's see, just to toss a few more out there (I'll followup with some details, or not, or maybe, hahaha!):

Tool
Metallica
Jane's Addiction
Queens of the Stone Age
Rob Zombie
NIN
REM
Live

[Lots more as I remember]

Hmm, non-rock/metal....

We've seen a good number of Jazz acts - Max Roach, nearly all the Marsalis brothers, Spyro, Dave Grisman, Cabo, etc., etc. (Usually at clubs in NYC). Rebecca Zapen is terrific, she used to be one of my designers, and our good friends Bro, James Carr is an amazing Sax player (several recordings).

and seeing Iron Maiden again in about a month.

Should have seen Guns N Roses three times, but Axl got sick for 2 of the shows and I got pneumonia and missed them w/ Metallica.

Nice. So jealous you've seen Guy. He's tied with John Legend for my favorite male artist. Absolutely flawless voice.

Delta is just...a breath of fresh air. She's beautiful, an incredible singer, a musician, a songwriter, an actress and a dancer. There aren't many as universally gifted as she is. I love her music SOOOOO much, especially the Born to Try and Mistaken Identity albums.

Now that I think about it, I'd kill to see Young Divas too...but with Ricki-Lee/Paulini/Emily/Kate. Ricki-Lee was replaced now D:

Gotta love Australian pop.

I agree with you about Guy Sebastian. He's like... the best thing to come out of Adelaide. Better than Lleyton Hewitt, haha.

The Young Divas? HOW DO YOU EVEN HEAR ABOUT THESE BANDS? I had no idea any of these people had any impact overseas.

Ricki-Lee has gone on her own now. I'm not really into pop, but I prefer her stuff alone.

It's weird... to think that I take being able to see all of these people in concert (for a very low price) for granted.

I don't want to know.

The last 2 Ozzfest shows I went for free for donating blood.
You should donate other people's blood. That way you can donate more :yesnod:

Who needs morality when you have concert tickets?

Damn, that's pretty epic. I hadn't gotten into my "classic" list yet, but we definitely have some overlap:

Rush
Pink Floyd
Skynyrd
Queensryche
Van Halen (w/ Roth)
Iron Maiden (~Powerslave era)

Metallica was on my other list - of my more modern rock/metal shows, I'd say Metallica and Tool have floored me the most.

The wifey saw The Who, said it was *amazing*.

Very cool [and organized] list.

Haha, yes, Guy is INCREDIBLE.
And...these people unfortunately DON'T have any impact overseas. I'm a Kiwi who watched a bit too much Rove Live =P
I forgot to mention Sarah Blasko. Just watched her Live @ the Chapel special (downloaded). Her, Missy Higgins and Sia are my alternative goddesses <3.\
And yes, haha. I'd give nearly anything to be able to see my favorite Australians live. Living here in Canada, there isn't much homegrown talent I appreciate... D: (Could say the same about back home, we've got Bic Runga and Hayley Westerna, wtf?!)

@ Puckfiend: Nice, nice. You saw Fleetwood Mac in '97, lucky jerk  I'm obsessed with The Dance tour DVD =P
