Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk

Seems there are some similarities:

1. Many on the same consoles
2. Multiplatform
3. Same target group

and with the announcement that Guitar Hero will have some drastic changes in the coming up 4th one (if you count the 80's edition)

so my question is do you think the franchise will make more changes like Tony Hawk where you can walk around, have more freedom, do things other than play songs with the guitar? and do you think they should or just keep it the same?

they did announce that there would be boss battles but im not so sure that they will transform it into an actual free rome type

I did not say free roam and I wouldn't call THUG a free roam but it would be cool if they made it so you could buy guitars and stuff with RPG elements like stats that determine the advantage you get and you would need money and you would have to play songs on street corners if you were low but there would be a main storyline that must be followed
