I need help w/ the USB NOW!

I got it/used it a while ago, then I uninstalled it & stopped using it when we got a wireless router. The router just broke, but I'm using the wired modem like before. I tried to get the USB reinstalled, but at the very end I got a popup say "Internet Connection Sharing Error.(6)" What does this mean? How do I fix it? I just want to play BWii online...is that so much to ask!?

wait are you using a usb ethernet adapter or what?

go to your network connections. right click your LAN connection (not the usb connector) go to properties, and look for a tab that says advanced. you need to enable internet sharing and it should be under the advanced tab or something, its definitely in properties. that could be your problem.

Yeh you could also try running the network wizard I have a USB Modem that I use on my pc and I have to share my internet with all the other computers and devices in my house

Do you have Windows XP? It could only run on Windows XP ..

Okay...so I did that and created a network bridge in doing so, and It tells me to delete that. So I just did, but i still get the popup saying to delete teh network bridge... help!

Well, I've been doing some research, by typing up the error code and stuff.. I found some sites that might have the same problem (since it said Internet Connection Sharing Problem.(6)) .. So, click on all of the links, and try to follow what these guys say.

Thanks, but nothing worked. I googled around and stuff earlier and got the middle link. All that did was make a network bridge that I can't get rid of to even start the process so now...I got lots of **** I gotta do and uninstall lots
