Wikipedia is the most unreliable source on the internet. I would trust a random blog before that. If you turned in a paper to me with Wikipedia as a source, you would lose points for that source.

Spelt is an ancient wheat -- that is the only correct usage. Spelt is not a correct way to write "spell" in the past tense.
