Imatation is the sincerest form of flattery, thus I start the smogon classic "Look at what I bred" Thread here at WiiChat. Their was an Offical breders thread some time ago, but I figured it could use an update and rebirth.

So, lets hit some ground rules.

1) Try to stay on topic either talking about the pokemon above or posting new pokes.
2) Do not bogg the thread down with trade requests, PM, or make one post then go to the trade tread.
3) Make some good pokes, and if you can, clone.

4) The posting format should be

For newly bred pokes:

Pokemon Nature
IVs: HP/Attk/Def/SAttk/SDef/Speed
Egg moves learned

For "Compleate" Pokes

Pokemon
Nature @ Item
IVs: HP/Attk/Def/SAttk/SDef/Speed
EVs: HP/Attk/Def/SAttk/SDef/Speed
Move 1
Move 2
Move 3
Move 4

Thanks and happy breeding.

Project Latios: Stage 1

Just a little project I have been working on, and, so far, here is what I have.

All of the below are Latios, all have been caught on route 121 of Pokémon Emerald, in a Master ball, at level 50, caused to spawn via a game shark so that the synchronizer can work (other wise I would continuously get random natures AND random IV's, this was so I could get some since of control). The Calculator used was the Veekun IV calculator, which at lvl 50 estimates the IV with a +/- of about 2, I am just going to take the lower number, the end result, may be higher. With that out of the way, let the numbers begin!

Latios – Timid
1) 8/10/12/10/0/8
2) 10/20/4/4/28
3) 6/20/14/0/28/24
4) 6/16/17/12/18/24/0
5) 8/18/16/18/24/24
6) 16/30/16/4/24/24
7) 2/6/12/22/26/16
8) 16/10/20/14/2/22
9) 24/16/26/24/18/8
10) 20/4/16/14/28/22
11) 26/31/16/16/0/6
12) 26/18/6/4/22/18
13) 31/22/8/0/2/16
14) 10/10/10/31/6/22
15) 18/2/4/22/24/31
16) 22/23/26/6/20/19
17) 12/0/24/10/2/22
18) 31/22/18/28/26/6
19) 10/8/31/26/6/31
20) 26/6/20/14/20/28
21) 2/31/31/18/26/0
22) 6/22/26/0/8/22
23) 6/28/4/26/8/14

Speed and Special Attack are the most important stats, however special defense, defense, and HP, are always nice to have extra of. I think #19 is my real angel, and I don’t fore see me finding a better one. #18 has Potential; it’s just a little on the slow side. If anyone has any thoughts on the good ones, I would like to hear them, so I can determine if I should keep hunting more or just be happy with #19. Clones of the finished product, will eventually be given out.

No Latios were harmed in this experiment, all non timid, and non kept Latios were released back into the wild after a nice snack and a pat on the head.

#19 seems to be your best bet, brother Strype.
Best speed and great S.ATK
Knowing you, you're probably going to throw t-wave or a choice item on him.

Got my Milotic done.

Milotic (Damio) "Male"
Bold @ Leftovers
31/20/25/19/23/3
148/0/100/140/122/0
Surf
Ice Beam
Toxic
Recover

Unorthidox but I like this spread. Ups his good S.Def while Bold nature and the DEF/HP EVs make him bulky as hell. Kind of my all-purpose Toxifyer.

Milotic #2 (My old one) had great IVs and was my stall *****.

Calm @ Leftovers
30/23/28/11/29/31
252/0/100/0/158/0
Toxic
Aqua Ring
Recover
Protect

Metal/Poison pokes raped her though...

With a latios, you always put a soul dew on it. Always, Always, ALWAYS....

I'm thinking #19, or one of the new ones I just started farming.
Whoa, the IV's on that second Milatotic, Whoa....Thats amazing right there.

The best Timid one I found on smogon (Latios)15/23/27/3/21/31, Thats not shabby, good speed and defenses, and a good 30/X/14/31/1/31 on a modest

The only problem with this, is Latios Kinda likes HP [Fire] for dealing with metagross/Bronzong, but its not a necessity with it and is only used on one set...I can't easily determine HP until I migrate it up to Pearl.

Editing: After Captureing about 50 more Latios, I have boiled my choices down to the following five (Hidden Power's can not be determined untill I send them to Pearl)

10/10/10/31/6/22 - Perfect Attack, Lame speed.
18/2/4/22/24/31 - Reverse of the above, Bad defence
31/22/18/28/26/6 - If only the speed were Salvageable.
10/8/31/26/6/31 -Number 19, still looks strong, Bad S.Def, but good stats otherwise.
8/8/28/28/28/24 - I'm impressed, Passable speed, Bad HP, Good everything else.
6/0/24/28/12/26- Outclassed by above
Ok so 3 4 and 5 are the best. #3 will not be used for sake of the lousy speed; he is condemned to stay on the copy of emerald, 4 and 5 are going to the DS for final judgment.

Good News Everyone!

futurama_0601_wideweb__470x330,0.jpg

I had been using the IV determining code incorrectly on my AR, it spits out numbers that are HP/Attk/Def/Spee/SAttk/SDef instead of the assumed format of hp/attk/def/sattk/sdef/speed

With that being said, I have to go edit what I have made, but the real good news, is after some testing, Project bulbasuar, was not a failure, In actuality, I have some pritty decent bulbas to present. I'm so happy.

Bulbasaur Timid
IVs: 31/26/22/31/31/30
Leaf Storm / Hidden Power [Electric] 70

IVs: 27/18/31/31/31/31
Leaf Storm /Hidden Power [Dragon] 70

IVs: 31/15/31/27/3/30
Leaf Storm /Hidden Power [Ice] 70

Let us for a moment look at this last bulba, and morn for it's special defense. Are we done? Yep. He doesn't NEED to worry about special D, He has a freaking 31 hp, 31 s.atk. and a 30 timid-gunnna be backed by a scarf....The first two, I'm gonna keep for a little while, I'm really intrigued by the first one. HP elec is kinda funny, but is outclassed by ice. The only thing elect hits hard is Water/flying, and grass -> water, Flying-> ice... however elect does hit for nutral v. steel, who otherwise totally walls the saur.

Also editing rather than posting again,
1) New ds, cloneing will begin as soon as it charges all the way up.
2) Got Pheonix Wright 2, for 12 bucks
3) The breeding shall begin again!!

Also, Nice build but I feel like the Annoyer build outclasses it in a way, [Energy Ball/Sludge Bomb/Leech Seed/Sleep Powder] And really, Sludge bomb is the primary attack (90 bp as apposed to 80 bp) unless you think you might want to sleep them... Stabb moves, honest and for-true, are the most important things venu does. HP Ice should be able to kill a non scarfed dragon, and leaf storm is a hit and run move, you might get 1, 2 attacks from it...TOPS

HP ICE!!!
Very nice, Strype. HP ELEC is good, actually.
If you arent going to use him, (and if it's male), I want the 1st one! :D I've formed a devious plot for him, a ploy, rather.
I knew you were looking for HP Ice Bulba before though.

Timid
Black Sludge/Leftovers
80 S.DEF / 200 S.ATK / 70 SP. DEF / 160 SPD

HP ELE
Leaf Storm
Leech Seed/Synthesis
Substitute
Now I know you were going to put a scarf on him but hear me out. He will be able to outspeed many things now. Timid+160 EVs on this Bulba is Good News! (Great IVs help too) So he can seed the oponent, sub up, and sweep away.
Electric and STAB Grass have good coverage (Water beware...)
BBL, and i'll edit again.

At long last, here it is Choice scarf Venusaur

Venusaur
Timid @ Choice Scarf
IVs: 31/15/31/27/3/30
EVs:32 Hp/228 Speed / 246 Sp Attack
Leaf Storm
Hidden Power: [Ice] 70
Sleep Powder / Toxic [Status Move]
Earthquake

Why did I drop a few points of S. Attk for a higher speed?
I wanted to hit 415 so I could out speed pokes after 2 dragon dances (Dragonite / Salamence) and also out speed Scarf-ed non natured heracross.
Earthquake is really situational, and might become sludge bomb.

Friday Edit:

I present to you, Emperor Napoleon.
Napoleon (Empoleon)
Timid @ Life Orb
IVs:12/21/31/31/24/31
EVs:48 HP / 252 S. Attk / 208 Speed
Agility
Surf
Ice Beam
Grass Knot

Deep down in side, Napoleon has...a...Napoleon...complex every time he looks at his steel brother metagross, who outclasses Napoleon completely, except physical/special sort of deal. Napoleon decided to copy and modify his steel comrade's abilities. First he took Agility, which once used, puts his depressing speed up to 456, one point faster than choice scarf garchomp, so that he can ice that shark down. Next he diversified his moves and picked up Grass Knot. Next with his life orb, he can knock his own life down to 1/3rd faster and thus get the ability boost to his surf up with torrent.
Viva la empoleon.

Project Latios

Latios
Timid @ Soul Dew
IVs: 10/9/30/27/7/31 [Ice 68]
EVs: 6 HP/ 252 SAttk/ 252 Speed
Dragon Pulse
Grass Knot / Thunder
Calm Mind
Recover

The move list is variable, but all builds should start here, and then alter as you go. Soul Dew, is a necessity, it's just too good.

Project StarFish

Staryu - 21/31/24/31/26/31 Natural Cure - Timid
Staryu - 29/12/31/28/28/31 Natural Cure - Timid (My Favorite)
Staryu - 31/1/31/31/29/31 Illumniate -Timid

The last one, of course, the tragity of perfection...I think I'll just use it for trade bait.

latios #5 and #15 have potential, i LOVE the third Staryu, i dont think natural cure helps it much anyway unless your afraid of status'rs

every time i think about starting to breed again i just remember how much it sucks. i'm kinda glad i stopped.

lmao, it is very tedious,

stopped being fun for me after rebreeding 1 Box Full and continuing to breed the other 2 Box's

it became boring for me after about of month of breeding tentacools. i think my best was something like 31/x/31/30/31/31. of course it didnt have the right hidden power so i had to keep going...
