Man returns gutted 360, gets money back

The clerk was probably mentally ill. I'm not sure any strait person could take that broken 360 and give a person $400 for it. As Syntax mentioned, he was probably fired shortly after this incident.

The fooled employee explains: "the guy that was working that morning was by himself, so we cannot under any circumstances leave the dept. So the girls that work at the service desk were told to see if everything is in the box, and approve," he continues. "Obviously they did not do a very good job." Girls eh?

It wasnt his fault
It teaches them not to hire girls that know sod all about games (ie eye candy)

Wow... I'm Gonna Use One Of My Favorite Quotes For This One...

Hmm, I suspect the police will be visiting him shortly. I say this because every store I know who accepts returns requires your name, address, phone number and ID verification (usually write down your driver's license number too).

Just because they accepted the items and gave him his money back doesn't release him from liability of theft, which is what he did.
