You do realise Yoshi was actually the name of Miyamoto's dog. Apparently Miyamoto used to ride around on it and throw shells whilst wearing a cape.
Some say he had a F***ed up childhood, others say its what made him the man he is today, perhaps that dogprint was a notion to his creative past..... either way PLEASE! dont quote me on this...
