Hi there -- newbie Wii user here trying to get a handle on the system. I just bought a Wii and tried to start Pikachu's Adventure -- I get an error message telling me I need 95 blocks of memory and only 43 are available. Seems odd that a new console doesn't have enough memory to run a game. Only two other games played previously (New Super Mario Bros and Mariokart) -- both had no problems.

Do I need to buy extra memory? Insert an SD card? Any guidance very gratefully received!!

Check the Wii settings, under "data", to assure you have, in fact enough blocks. Haven´t you downloaded anything?

Thanks -- it appears that there are total of 67 blocks available. So not enough. How do I increase? Can I install a larger memory card?

Oh, problem solved. There were some channels we didn't want taking up lots of memory -- deleted those and we're away. Hmm, not sure how they got on a supposedly new Wii, but anyway we now have lots of memory.
