Opera Browser question

Ok...this question has probably been asked alot, but here it is again...

Can the Wii get viruses? Would it get viruses like a PC?

not unless someone figures out how to make homebrew for the Wii and uses that info to make a virus for the Wii

For the most part, it's pretty difficult to get a virus on a PC browser, unless you are a complete tool. I don't think Wii virii will be on the horizon.

so your saying even if I load up a page that I know has a virus that would affect my PC, it wont affect my Wii?

Viruses are normally operating system specific. Unless someone gets the Wii's operating system onto thier computer then I would say no.

viruses affect 1) OS 2) specific program (dialer) 3) third party software as relate to #2...

All the above relate to OS, which is Wii made. since opera for wii is pretty much limited functions (aka cant download and install programs), virus can't affect it much.
