Hi all,

I have an opportunity to get Photoshop, YAY! A lot of people here have Photoshop and I was wondering is you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? Also, if I just wanted to make graphics like forum signatures and such, would it have enought of Photoshop's features. Does it still support all of the brushes? Does it still have all the basic tools?

Also what would be the advantage of buying CS2 instead of Elements 5?

Thanks,
Wiily

They're both the same general concept. I use CS which has many great feature, but as you mentioned, there is a CS2 and CS3 out, so CS is getting outdated. I hear Adobe Elements is pretty good.

If you are going to purchase only one, then I would suggest that you go for CS or above. I personally have CS2, so it is really up to you.

So you think Elements wouldn't be able to produce Signatures and the like? Should I get Paint Shop Pro 12/13 as it is much cheaper than CS2?

I am not too sure because I haven't used the other two programs that you have listed, but I do know that Photoshop 7.0, CS or above will be more than enough to do what you are looking for.

Ever heard of the word..

download :)

:shifty:

And I'm going to get CS3 today, but I suggest that you start with CS2 as it is better, and gives you the opportunity to work with many things..

PhotoShop Elements is for videos.......... :/

Photoshop Elements is basically a dumbed down Photoshop. Elements is actually tougher for me now that I am familiar with photoshop. My personal opinion is that Elements is more for photo editing rather than signature design, but I would think you could design sigs in Elements just don't think you will get the quality you would from a full blown photoshop sig.

Premiere is Adobe's video editing program and there is a Premiere Elements version as well.

As a matter of fact these descriptions are straight from Adobe's Website...

Not sure I should be asking this but does any one know where I can get a serial code or a keygen that will not install and entwine viruses into my system?

Or for Flash CS3 for that matter.
