I wouldnt of thought so, in fact I cant think of many companies that would drop prices whilst demand is way higher than supply.

I would say about a year depending on how well the Wii sells in the long term. With the Gamecube they had to start droppiong prices early because it wasn't selling. Let's just hope it's not the same scenario with the Wii.

game consoles usually don't drop in price for at least a year... the only reason the xbox360 dropped in price was to try and persuade buyers from buying a ps3/wii

yeah in my area, futureshop/best buy is offering pretty sweet package deals. $450cad for a xbox360 prem + 4 games, one of which is gears of war.

that deal is over now though.. now they have one for $499 xbox prem + 3 games

That's good in Cad but in the US, it's the same old thing. You CAN find bundles here and there though that save you cash. I guess they are still selling well in the states.
