Because the Wii wont get any GTA game no time soon, and maybe not ever seeing that the Wii U will come out soon, should they Remake GTA3 or San Andreas(maybe not) on the Wii.the same exact game on the PS2 on the Wii with motion controls.you hold the Wiimote like a real Bazooka to use the Bazooka in the game.you hold the Wiimote like a Sniper like a real Sniper to use it in the game.you swing the Wiimote to swing the Baseball bat in the game.Punch with the Wiimote to punch in the game.because it is the PS2 the Wii could definitely play it well and very smoothly.it could Probably handle Vice City and San Andreas but not sure how smooth those would run so they should stick with an easy one THAT YOU CANT MESS UP! or just make a GTA WII VERSION!so anyway good ideal or not

Sounds good. Of course with the wii being what it is, the city maps probably wont be as big as they are in the 360/ps3 counter parts. Like how Dead Rising for the Wii doesnt hold the same amount of zombies as the other console ports do.

For the Wii, no. For the WiiU? Count me the **** in! :D

I'm sure the WiiU is more than powerful enough to allow proper co-op, both online and offline. None of that birds-eye view ****. The tablet would be akin to how the 3DS made Ocarina of Time's controls much smoother: we'd no longer need to pause to see the entire map (but the option is still there, 'course) and could set waypoints in real time, the motion controls would obviously be a fun spin on the game, and things like moving and driving could also use the full button layout to not make everything exclusively motion controls, since that'd just get terrible with things like the Jet Pack, planes and the like.

Although yes, it'd be a poor business decision to do that, though. GTA has already transitioned from PS3 exclusivity to also being on the 360. The last thing Sony or Microsoft want is Nintendo to steal even more of their profit. :p

We've had the discussion that side-scrolling gameplay has aged quite well, haven't we? ¬_¬

Better than birds-eye view anyways. :p

Trust me, with a top down view for current gen console GTAs , lots of stuff wouldnt be as dynamic as it would be without it.

well if they make those gta remakes with online gamplay like players moving at city sametime etc. then its good, but if its only single player then no.

NOOOOOOOOOOO

You've played the terrible co-op for San Andreas, right? It doesn't work at all. GTA 4's normal 3rd person view for online play is definitely optimal, IMO.
