Super Smash Bros. 4

That explains how I saw Marth with a teamhealer in his hand, still using his original color. Thought that was the Wii U version, so I guess this applies to the Wii U as well and you can actually turn the outlines off :)

Excellent news about the Gamecube-style controller. I for one will probably be fine with the other options as when playing with friends a couple years ago we broke a Gamecube controller and I surprisingly got used to the classic controller for playing very quickly and that's the controller I main now.

Probably 95+ percent of Smash players still use Gamecube controllers and is the sole reason they're still sold in game stores today, so this was an EXTREMELY smart move on both Nintendo and PDP's part.

...
Holy **** I totally called it.
TAKE THAT TRAGO! :3

MOAR CHARACTERS. I IZ HAPPY. VERY HAPPY.
:D

Despite this, I just CANNOT fathom NFC being used for playable characters in Smash Bros. It would honestly ruin the way Smash itself is meant to be and Sakurai would definitely never do it, and then Namco and even Nintendo know this. What I think the NFC characters will do for Smash is add trophies (like AR Card Idols in Uprising) and add new custom moves and possibly aesthetic options to existing characters. It would really hurt Smash Bros.' reputation to have required NFC figures to have access to playable characters. And even without NFC changing the game itself that much, it still makes tons of money because hardcore collectors will eat it up. I heard about quite a few people who were REALLY looking around for some of the more rare Kid Icarus Uprising cards.

Speaking of customization though, we have new info and screenshots on Hyrule Warriors and even though the outfit isn't THAT much different from Link's original, I kinda hope it's a costume choice in the game: http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/zelda/character/link.jpg This game is also one I can see making much more use of NFC though.

Lol trophies and custom moves? If they do that, they won't sell at all xD
Maybe something else then characters, but I think characters is still very possible. Maybe costumes? Though they'd have to be really epic if they would want to sell those.
I think characters makes perfect sense though. Place the character on the Gamepad and the character is suddenly alive. SSB-Style much?a
also: What are aesthetic options?

And yes, it would be a good choice for Hyrule Warrios as well, to put in those NFC figurines.

This is cool, but I'm happy with the Pro Controller.

The thing about Team Healer. I think you can use it outside of Teams as well.

Also, NFC could be used for alt costumes

I don't think you could use teamhealer in Brawl without doing a teambattle...
Also: I already said that about costumes ._.

*Hangs himself in the name of the Karp King*

Dead Captain:
Oh also, I just read the custom moves have been confirmed.
That probably means that you can customize your character, save it on the figure and then take it with you to your friends / to a tournament to instantly be able to play with your customized character. Sounds pretty good to me. Not that awesome though.
I wonder how exactly that's gonna work though... SO PUMPED FOR THE E3!
But of course for Mario Kart as well :)

Also... Why do I have a strong feeling that you're gonna need one of these things to be able to get data from your 3DS to your Wii U... Like custom moves.

One thing I WILL call right now though: The players who hated Ike in Brawl are going to REALLY HATE Little Mac in Smash 4. Ike is seen as so "overpowered" in non-competitive play because of his easy KO's in 4-player casual matches, and Little Mac is going to be much worse about this.

Funny you mention that...

Ike is announced to return in Smash Bros.!

Ike? How did Nintendo misspell Mewtwo?

...Oh it really is Ike. :/
