G-rank in 3U for the third time. Volcano, my old friend, Meldspar ol' buddy, here I come.

rip kanon's triforce heroes copy 2015-2015

I entered the world of Monster Hunter alone... played alone for about a year, 'til I recruited some hunters worth callin' friends outside the game. Sucks lovin' a multiplayer game no one else you know does.

Playing the DS Castlevania's. Finished Portrait of Ruin and playing through Order of Ecclesia. They are easily more balanced and challenging than Symphony of the Night, but I still prefer the atmosphere it had. It had better music too. Right now, OoE seems like a step up from Portrait of Ruin. The bosses in that game are brutal. I've died at least once to every single boss in that game so far. Very satisfying to beat them though.

For some absurd reason I decided Sm4shing in the early mornin' was a good idea... and strangely it was, didn't encounter any scummy Smashers. Weird. Lots of Doc too... weird.

even uploaded two good replays, which is especially weird since the people who can body me often come out in these times of darkness

There's a replay function in Mario Maker akin to Sm4sh's, ain't there? Ya should show off some'a your creations.

I captured a G-rank monster in under two minutes, usin' my new HBG Normal S set. Considerin' I'm no professional heroics speedrunner (I didn't use Adrenaline etc.), that's... amazing. On my original 3U file I ignored the Arken Antiphon (Goldbeard HBG) since it couldn't load Normal 3... big mistake. The amount of extra raw over the Pinkie HBG makes a huge difference against monsters that don't give a damn 'bout Normal 3. This new file has been a useful learnin' experience. Purrhaps I'll be a decent gunner in MHX.

I didn't get very far in Fallout 4. Probably won't for a while. Too much Metal Gear Solid V going on. MGS always takes priority.

I have way too much on my to play list right now. And with me leading a guild on an MMO if I stay away too long my people begin to riot. :/

been playing a fair amount of metroid prime 2. Got bored of it years ago, unlike 1 and 3, largely cause dark aether really annoyed me for some reason. Not entirely sure what it was, I just remember really not liking the place. The atmospheric damage was a lot of it.

I actually got the dark suit this time, which makes that basically a non issue. The place still sort of annoys me for some reason, but I wouldn't say I outright dislike it anymore, it's alright. Added to the fact that the second area is far cooler than the first area, and I'd say I'm rather enjoying the game this time around. Alpha Blogg can go fuck itself tho.

Swagaxing my way to victory. Soon I'll Swagger my way to ye olde Gambit pierce set 'n [STRIKE]shot[/STRIKE]gun my way to 100%ing the game once more... except crown awards. Like hell I'm doin' those in 3U when 4U's ain't done.

though i considered chasing silver crowns because i have a ****ing problem

Also, a strange amount of Mario Kart 8. Wish I had monies for the DLC. Some VR 60,000 lost to me three times and ragequit. I'm only slightly over 9,000, funny how prideful some people are in a game so based on luck.

Continuing my journey through my backlog since there's nothing else to play this year, I've bought and finished Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. It might just be my favorite N64 game ever, which leaves me clueless as to why everyone hates the N64-vanias. At the very least, it's undeniable that it blows the PS2-vanias out of the water. You can even unlock the first Castlevania N64 game, making it 2 games in one, with 4 playable characters and their own scenarios. The story is possibly the best the series has ever had thanks to a different dev team, as Iga's own story and writing has always been terrible.
