Supposedly, a Uchiha member fought the Ninetailed Fox and lost..We only know of one person that fought the Ninetailed Fox..

Also, it is said that the Fourth Hokage is the leader of Akatsuki...Imagine a plot this twisted being true?

thinking about your theory looking at the manga ive seen the fourth and he doesn't have a trace of Sharingan in his eyes and wouldn't a person with a full devloped Sharingan or a Mangekyo Sharingan to face the 9 tailed fox but there is cases in the clan where they can use the sharingan so this is still a possiblitybut wouldnt the fouth have life threating moments to use it since he was hokage interesting stuff
