Wave Race 64 IGN review

Just because I love Wave Race 64 so much, I felt like posting this nice review of it.

It's a great game that still holds up surprisingly well a decade later, and you all should go and buy it so hopefully Nintendo gets a clue and makes the ultimate Wave Race Wii game for us.

Just imagine Wave Race Wii with online play and maxed out wii graphics....sooo sweet.

I remember playin this game constantly when i was little, i would go to my friends and play this one.. Dunno why i never bought it for my 64 back in 96, anyways they had one for the GC on launch, it failed miserbly probably reason its not on wii... But i think it would do great on wii.

what are you talking about failed? it got 9.2 review, its consider one of the "Must buy Gamecube games".

just because something got good reviews didnt mean it fared well commercially, likewise games with awful reviews can sometimes do well commercially, like Red Steel (although I like red steel a lot...it got miserable reviews).

i understand that happens, but it was a launch title, those dont and cant fail commercially, they're all u see and read about months leading up to the launch. and then on top of that the game got great reviews.

yeah but what he means is that it still sold poorly and not a lot of people got it (which is considered a failure)

Thank you very much... I faintly remember my friend renting the 64 ver. I didn't like it much, coz i didnt know how to play... and i was around 5 years old XD
