Im behind a school firewall and its not permitet to make wireless accesspoints so im waiting for the usb ethernet adapter comes for sale in my countery. My q. is as the topic say. What ports do the wee need to get online? dl games, browes etc. ?

Why would it matter, if you are using the usb ethernet adapter it's not like you can port foward anyways.

And it uses pretty standard transfer ports, so I doubt they are going to be blocked by the schools firewall.

Hum....i think what you mean is your Wireless signal has to be on Channel 1 or 11.
Not port 1 or 11..

If you can forward anything you might want to try forwarding the MAC adress.

This will allow you on to the internet.

Umm, please explain? The MAC address of the Wii, and any other network product, is used for identification purposes. What part does it play in allowing internet access?
