When you send in a wii for repair (or, cleaning, like me for brawl), do you...

well all you need to care about is the hard drive which has all your seves and stuff if they gave you that with a different wii and everything works fine i wouldnt worry but they do always send you the exact same wii back

The Wii doesn't have a hard drive. It uses 512MB of solid-state FLASH memory.

It would really depend on what was wrong with it, If it was something simple that could be replaced in a couple of minutes then you would most likely get your own Wii back. But if it was something major that had to be replaced and would take a bit of time you would receive a refurbished unit.

In other words....They could change everything else besides the Motherboard.
