I'm now well aware of the fact that the Wii has a built in Wi-fi. It's just that my router sucks as some of you may have already seen my previous post about not being able to wirelessly connect to my router.

I trying to consider all my options to get my Wii on the internet.

1) I could buy the lan adapter and get a wireless bridge. I am currently using a wireless bridge / powerline adapter for my Xbox 360 and it works well. However, the Wii needs the lan adapter. Plus I would have to buy another powerline unit to support my wii.

or

2) Get a new Router?

What do you guys think is the best solution?

i have a router and im happy with it but i always prefer lan over wifi any day

wifi is fine n works but lan u will def get a signal when u have service

lan will have the same speed or better then wifi

if u have to spend the money and ur wifi router is perfectly fine with everything else get the lan

but if ur router is iffy and u probably want another router anyways go for the router
