All Things Hockey

Leafs have a swell California road trip this week with a stop in Anaheim tomorrow night, just what they need..

devils beat buffalo in a shootout last night. a little bit of role reversal in this one.

last time they played devils trailed 1-0 about all game and finally tied late 3rd and won in shootout. last night same story just buffalo trailed and the devils won in a shootout.

Hehe, don't forget the Sharkies. Even if we are at home, we're still the 3rd best team in the league.

Let's just hope it doesn't go to a shootout.

The Canucks beat the NY Islanders in a shootout with Edler and Linden scoring in the shootout.

I know, when Tampa tied it with 41 seconds left I just about threw my remote at the TV. Then it went to a shootout, I was thinking alright here we go again.

Then Maurice was going to use Kaberle, Sundin, and Steen (didn't need to shoot, Kabs and Sundin won it for us) in the shootout. Kaberle's move was sick as well, along with Sundin's classic backhand.
NOTE: I actuly threw my remote but not at Tv lol *looks at 1969 stero*
O ya Syntax, Roberto made all star team but is not going to play lol
Because he had the baby, as mention.

So much for my hope of getting Nabby some rest, oh well. The 2-man team got its 2 all-stars in.

Capitals have signed Ovechkin to a 13-year contract worth $124 million!
Wow..what a deal.

Guess the Leafs can't send him an offer sheet in the off season now..

devils were in Boston tonight. unfortunatley weekes played. i hate when the back up plays. but yeahhhh. devils trailed 4-2 going into the 3rd. outshot the bruins aboutttt 20-2 in the 3rd. scored with about 9 min left to make it 4-3. continued to dominate couldnt score. last like 10 seconds Gionta right in the crease had a whack at a puck easily should have been a goal however a bruin defender stretched right out along the goal line and got it with his arm........i basically am beyond pissed with disappointment.

and i didnt notice this but apparently in the devils flyers game Darien Hatcher bit Travis Zajac's finger....lol. idk whats gonna happen.
He didnt. Apparently Zajac swiped his finger across Hatch's mouth and they tried to say he bit it lol.

In the words of many Pittsburghers like myself:

LETS GO PENS!!!!
LETS GO PENS!!!!
LETS GO PENS!!!

And that one person reported in the papers, I think that was Rutu. Everyone was fighting each other in that Toranto game. Rutu got in the worst of it though. He gave some guy a concusion by punching him in the brow bone, like puncturing his eyes... sick stuff really. You should'a seen that game. 3 goals in 48 seconds, hat trick by Malkin. You knew the game was over when the fans at Mellon Arena started chanting " USA! USA! USA!" haha

LETS GO PENS!

Luongo has decided to skip the All-Star Game to spend time with his pregnant wife back in Florida.
