not to spoil your excitement, but I'm pretty sure that Japan has had online in Pokemon Battle Revolution since their launch.

But the only online game I'm sure of getting is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

You can play friends via friend codes from all over the world.And you can play random people but is region limited

Haz: You type in a 12 digit code to join someones game - Thats there online code [Unlike the 16 digit Friend Code] - This way you can play people all over the world I believe

or you can ask it to connect you up to a game automatically for a faster play - This will connect you up to people in your region
