naked japanese anime?

I heard in Japan they show nude anime characters on TV. Is this true?
When i used to live in korea, they did or still does. They showed a naked kid goku getting a shower from bulma or something

Its now a bit rare where there is lots of flesh on display. Most of the time its used as part of a joke (like somebody walks in when there getting changed). But then its mostly the arse on show
