Thats F***ed up.

Our school's was $300 for 2days at Perisher with lessons if you wanted them, they supplied boards/skis, you just need clothing, excluding meals.

... How much does it cost Gpole?

It costs me easily $100 per day. Thats including lift ticket and skis. Maybe more. Hmm or maybe not. A student seems to be only $63. But I guess to make it an even number let's just say between $80-$100 once you factor in the ski hire. It's not that much really, but for the math it is easier.

Anyway, my school went down to the snow for about a week. And it cost just under $1,000.

You should go Gpole, but trust me on this - you don't need much practise to get the hang of skiing. The good thing about the school though, they will supply you with lessons included. On my brothers trip, they HAD to do the lessons, despite him having been skiing before. It may be a good way to start... and then when you go overseas, you can forget lessons.
