The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

Just got back from that hell hole. First thing game wise I did was buy my pre ordered Amazing Spiderman game. Usually I don't waste time with movie games but Spiderman movie games held promise since Spiderman 2 and the trailers looked go for this one so i said hey, why not.

The games good, just not as good as it could be. If they stuck to the same formula as they did with Spiderman 2 or Ultimate Spiderman while in the Manhattan bits it would have been much better. The web swing mechanics in this game aren't nearly as fluid as in the aforementioned games. For one web swinging around the city doesn't require having something for your web to tether to. Part of what was great about the previous games was that you had to make your route depending on the layout of the city in that area, what would allow for the speediest route to swing through. In this game I can swing several feet over all the buildings while my web just mysteriously tethers to, I dunno clouds? Also you could build up a lot more speed in the other games while web swinging than this one.
Another big problem is the completely lack of stuff to do in the city. Every now and then a domestic disturbance will rise and you can go and stop the crime but it doesn't happen nearly enough. Besides the few blimp missions and wasting time all there is to do is follow the story line. Not to mention a good 85% of the main missions are in inclosed areas instead of the city.

Games not bad, but didn't take hold of its full potential.

Its funny playing Killing Floor when your team is so bad you proceed to spend the next ten minutes soloing rounds. Ended up carrying through all 10 waves and I couldn't wait for the Patriarch fight, I was sitting wondering how hard could it be to carry 4 morons through a Patriarch fight when I have like 20 pipe bombs stacked in one area. Apparently really hard as one idiot decided to throw a grenade at every single one of them and kill 3 teammates and injure another, completely removing his Kevlar armour. So I proceed to carry the final round with a flamethrower so it was slow as all hell and I ended up dying because Patriarch melee hit me for about 78 life and I ended up getting killed from one hit off the chain gun. Good job team with your nades! Good frikin job! /rage

Continued onward in the war against the Nords, claiming nigh-half their castles, as well as all their towns. Stomped right into Sargoth and owned King Ragnar himself. The very man who had given me the opportunity to rise into power is finally on the verge of losing the entire kingdom to his once-favorite lord.

no Diamond Pickaxes

There's somethin' relaxing 'bout traveling through Free Roam and just doin' everythin' there is to do, no transports or nothin'. All travel by horse back (or rather, zebra-donkey back) and by foot.

I found it amusing that a low-level random was damn well determined to follow me 'round, even though I was half the map away (the scrub didn't know how to use a transport lol) and there was a huge posse just in the area for 'em to join up with. Didn't have a mic, didn't send me a message or nothin', just accompanied me wherever I went and whatever I was doin'. Even in Friendly Free Roam ya never see that. T'was weird.

Also made my Sawed-Off golden finally. Been only 10 headshots away from gold for months, but it's the second worst shotty so I didn't care to finish the headshot challenge off. All that's left is the Fire Bottle, Pump-Action, Double Barrel and the two impossible-without-boosting Tomahawk 'n Explosive Rifle that 99.9% of all RDR players don't have 'em legit. Even if I had Live permanently, I'd never manage to get 'em.

Many of them consider Meet the Pyro as proof of him/it being a brony, ignoring the fact that this takes place in the '60s and that scenery has existed for some time. It looked like you joined that as well.

Well that's why I edited in an Irony Mark.
I just used scenes from Meet the Pyro.

I don't think people can assume he's a brony if they can't assume it's a dude

So the only thing keeping that from being true is gender?..... Surely you know of the sixties. The music should've helped.

What a shame. Meanwhile in Xenoblade- Why is the ocean.... wrong?

After days of trading (and a generous gift from Gaben), I now have the complete Pyro item set introduced in MtP.

And now I traded the burning bongos part for white bills and 2 keys, which is an excellent profit considering the price of the bongo's will fall while the Bill's has a static value.
