The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

I just realized I haven't upgraded my weapons. 100 extra damage makes a big difference. Armor... I'm not sure what the deal is with that. Most people wear cloth rather than heavy stuff, although those are the guys that constantly spam parry. I'll stick to that Faraam armor until I notice it being lackluster compared to other armor.

Oh.

until now I couldn't be assed to make any miis besides myself, but since sm4sh 3DS uses them, I some new ones yesterday

The guy that looks like Reyn is Reyn. I actually think I did a pretty good job on him, I saw some other Reyn Miis on Google that didn't look like him at all. The black haired chick is Terezi, obviously I couldn't complete the look with horns, pure red eyes, or gray skin, but whatevs. Purple shirt dude is me, I updated it cause the previous one was mii....uh, meh. See, I'm totally funny... I actually dunno why I made my eyes like that, I'll change them l8r. Blondie is Flandre, who you can see better in the lower pic.

being neosquid, I -- naturally -- made a stunfisk mii. As said, you can see Flandre better in this pic. I'm not terribly proud of her tbh, it doesn't look particuarly like Flandre. Alas, I suppose it's about the best I could do with the tools this piece of shit program gave me. What kind of avatar making program doesn't let you put diapers on people's heads?

here is tommy wiseau. When I play as him in sm4sh, he is ironically the one doing the tearing apart.

...and then there's this epitome of beauty. It might be better not to ask me about this piece of trash...

the first three pictures were mirrored, if you didn't notice. Held my phone the wrong way, neglected to fix the orientation correctly. I sincerely apologize for this monumental inconvenience.

if you're wondering why there's no ghirahim mii, it's because mii maker simply has, uh, too many options for an avatar creation program...

Flan seems like the one that'd work out better with some chibification, what with the bare-bone features of the Mii editor. There's plenty of great-looking hatless Flan artwork as well, so it's likely not the fault of the program.

Completed all of the Mages Guild recommendations. That's a first for me, and I can now get into the University. As soon as I get some stupid staff in a cave somewhere. Dammit.

Beat Ocarina of Time 3D. I'll be attempting the Master Quest since I've heard it's not your average Hero Mode.

Tough enemies are one thing, but that's not what Zelda is known for. Ganon was underwhelming, the 'dorf was more difficult to beat.

Beat the Lost Sinner. I heard a lot of complaints that the boss is a pain to fight due to the 2 mages in NG+, but they go down pathetically easy. Pursuer was a nightmare though. Summoning that one npc by the door made things very manageable. Onwards to... hm. I think I can either go to the Gutter or the Harvest Valley. I did Harvest Valley the first run, so I'll try the Gutter this time.

After which you should play MM

But garphics is terrible.

The white monk robes are causing female characters to become invisible when worn, and it is killing me. It doesn't do anything to the gameplay and it's rarely worn, but they always show up near the white-gold tower so I will end up seeing them. I can't play the game until I figure out how to fix that.

Tried out the xcom reboot. I think I'm still in the tutorial. Noticed that it's not real time while at base, as in I don't think aliens can attack me when not on the field map. Far less options too. Less of a simulation and more of a game, but at least I'll likely be able to beat the game this time.

Playing Alien: Isolation. It's the first game I've played with "next-gen"(technically now current-gen) graphics. It's so pretty. That's in part due to the retro sci-fi look that's based on the film. The environments are so damn full of details, and the atmosphere really pulls you in. Loving it.

I actually wanted to play that game when it came out. Incase you didnt know im a huge Alien vs Predator fan but i always go for alien. Anyway, is it really good. D:

Yes, but the game is stealth-focused like Amnesia, Outlast, etc. Those games don't have the best gameplay or combat and progression feels like it's part of an old-school adventure game. Still, the game is a must-play for anyone fond of the Alien franchise. Only took a decade or so for another decent entry.

Hm... Not bad, I guess. I'm sure the game is pretty short, huh? Not many modern games last like over 3 hours of continuous playtime.

Looks like my success in DS2 pvp is determined by weapon types. Lances, katanas, ultra-greatswords, and drumsticks all mean doom. Magic is 50/50. Everything else is fairly easy to beat.

Shadow of Mordor is 33% off for some reason. I'll probably wait.

played the oras demo. Much to my immense surprise, it was bad. I was upset for a grand total of around seventeen seconds, then I realized I really didn't give a ****, because it is just a demo.
